  • January 2008 - Fast forward to our trip to Costa Rica, Rich took his father Richard Spanton, his mother Saundra, his brother Matt and Anna, and his wife Chrissie to Costa Rica. The trip of a life time.
  • February 2007 - Rich and Chrissie spend their honeymoon in Zihuatanejo, Mexico 2007
  • January 27, 2007 - Rich Spanton Jr and Chrissie get married
  • July 2006 - Rich and Chrissie break ground on Copperstone Inn, there soon to be Luxury Bed & Breakfast
  • October 2005 - Rich purchases the farm, then shortly there after asks Chrissie to marry him, then Orchard Ridge Farms is born.

About Rich Spanton Jr


Richard Spanton Jr was born in Beloit, WI. He grew up playing ice hockey for the Beloit Blades and the Madison Capitols. "I played hockey since I was 3 and football in high school. I am also married to the most incredible woman, Chrissie Spanton, plus I own my own national construction company called Mastercraft Exteriors", Richard Spanton Jr

Rich Spanton Jr and his wife Chrissie are building the most luxurious Bed & Breakfast, Copperstone Inn to be part of their future plans of having a working apple orchard and pumpkin patch at their farm, Orchard Ridge Farms. Rich also owns an elk farm with his father, GBM Elk Farm.

Business

Rich's entrepreneurship and leadership skills began at a very young age. Rich would plant pumpkins in the summer and sell them on the side of the road in the fall. He now grows pumpkins at his farm in Rockton, IL completely organically.

Rich also owns a national roofing, siding and gutters company.
